Sci Yoga was founded by two international Yoga teachers, Bholi Parihar and Divyansh Sharma. Before starting SciYoga, they travelled to different parts of the world, led Yoga retreats, sound healing courses, and Yoga teacher training courses (YTTC), teaching people from almost 125 countries. During this time, they realised that people are discounting Yoga, its core philosophy, and its science. As a result, Yoga has become just a recreational activity for many. They wanted to change this by initiating SciYoga as a mission to spread true Yoga. Our courses are scripture-backed and research-backed.
At SciYoga, our mission is to make people healthy at all levels. We strive to bring holistic wellness into society. A world where people achieve emotional, physical, social, and spiritual wellness. Let’s understand all of these dimensions of health to understand our solutions better:
Primarily, there are four dimensions of health, including Physical Health, Mental Health, Social Health, and Spiritual Health. Yoga has various limbs, which target all of these dimensions:
How It All Began
SciYoga was born when Divyansh Sharma (founder) and Bholi Parihar (co-founder) crossed paths, only to unite and build a platform where true ancient Yoga blends with contemporary science. Their prime mantra was to build a true Yoga platform with values such as ‘truth’, ‘clarity’, ‘purpose’, ‘objectivity’, and ‘honesty’.
The Yoga field is often considered more esoteric than scientific. At Sci Yoga, we are shifting this narrative through our programs, which are backed by tons of research articles and ancient scriptures. As the current research is formidable, medical professionals are clearly suggesting Yoga for almost every health condition, which also adds to its credibility. At Sci Yoga, we ensure we not only provide true science-backed Yoga but also in the simplest form, so that you don’t need to go through a ton of research yourself.
Our idea is to help you achieve your goal with the least complexity and with more accessibility. Fortunately, with concepts like ‘Kinesiology’, ‘Biomechanics’, and ‘breath science’, achieving your goal, including better athletic performance, fat loss, endurance, stress reduction, and breathing efficiency, is much simpler.
